Refund policy: what happens to your payment at each stage of a project

How this refund policy works

Our projects move in clear stages: spec, deposit, coding, demo build, final payment and delivery. What you can get back depends on the stage you have reached. Six rules in this refund policy cover every case.

Before the deposit, you pay nothing. The written spec and the quote cost nothing, so there is nothing to refund at that stage.

Rule 1: the deposit books your project

You pay a deposit of [DEPOSIT %] of the quote before coding starts. It reserves time for your project and pays for the first stage of work.

Rule 2: cancel before coding starts and get your deposit back

If you cancel after you pay the deposit but before we start coding, we refund the deposit in full. Tell us in writing, by email or WhatsApp.

Rule 3: once coding starts, the deposit covers the work done

After we start coding on your approved spec, the deposit is not refundable, because it pays for time already spent on your project. If you cancel at this stage, you do not owe the balance, and we stop work. Any trial build you already received stays a trial build, with its account lock or expiry date.

Rule 4: milestone payments follow the stages

Larger projects can use milestones, and each payment covers one stage of work that you approve. If you cancel, we refund any payment for a stage we have not started yet. Payments for stages that have started or that you approved stay non-refundable.

Rule 5: fixes come before refunds

If a build does not match the approved spec, we fix it. That applies during testing and for [X] days after delivery, at no extra cost. So a bug or a mismatch is a reason for a fix, not for a refund.

In the rare case that a feature in the approved spec turns out to be impossible on the platform, we agree a fair solution with you, such as a change to the spec or a partial refund for that feature.

Rule 6: no refunds after final delivery

Once you pay the balance and receive the full version, payments are not refundable. The same applies as soon as we release the source code, because files cannot be returned. Your [X]-day support window still applies after delivery.

What a refund does not cover

Refunds relate to our software work only. We do not refund payments because of:

  • trading losses, or results that differ from your expectations,
  • differences between backtests, demo results and live results,
  • changes to your strategy, or a change of mind after coding starts,
  • changes to broker terms, prop firm rules, platforms or VPS services,
  • rules or limits that your broker or prop firm applies to automated tools.

How to request a refund

Under this refund policy, you can ask for a refund by email at support@algokhaleej.com or on WhatsApp at +91 91066 42985. Include your name, the project and the reason. We reply within [X] business days. If we approve a refund, we send it through the original payment method within [X] business days. Your bank or payment provider may take longer to show it.

Chargebacks and payment disputes

Please talk to us before you open a chargeback or a payment dispute, because most problems have a quick fix. If you open a dispute without contacting us first, we pause all work on the project while the dispute is open. We also share our project records, such as the spec, messages and delivery notes, with the payment provider.
